Minella Hotel

Situated on the River Suir, in beautiful tranquil surroundings, the hotel is only 1.7 km from the town centre of Clonmel. The next big city is Waterford , which is 50 km away. The nearest shopping facilities, restaurants and bars can be found in Clonmel just 10 minutes walk from the Hotel. The original Georgian house was built by the Malcomsoms in 1863, and it was opened as a hotel by Mr & Mrs Jack Nallen in 1963. The conference hotel has seen much change over the years, including up-to-date technology and the addition of the award-winning leisure facilities at Club Minella. There are 90 guest rooms in total. Guests are welcomed in a lobby and there is lift access to the upper floors. Guests can enjoy the pub, restaurant and the dining room. Conference facilities are available to business travellers and there is also an onsite car park. All bedrooms have smart flat-screen televisions , free Wifi, a hospitality tray, hairdryer, and an iron and ironing board. Tea & coffee making facilities are also provided. The hotel features award-winning leisure facilities at Club Minella. These include a 20-metre deck-level indoor heated swimming pool, a separate children's pool area. Overlooking these excellent facilities is the hotel's hot tub, Swedish sauna, Turkish steam room, and body power showers. For an additional fee, guests can book themselves in for a massage treatment. Sports on offer include tennis, golf and biking (the latter two incur additional fees). The restaurant at the hotel provides an extremely comfortable and relaxed atmosphere in which to dine., with the All day menu available from 12noon until 9pm daily .Our restaurant is inviting and cosy and is renowned locally for its excellent quality food and warm friendly service.
