A calm and relaxing first class hotel, the Mexicana Resort Hotel (formerly part of the Creative chain) is situated on Om el Seid Hill just four miles from Neema Bay and just over a mile from Sharm El Sheik Old Town.\n\nThere are nearly 200 guest rooms spread throughout the Mexicana Resort Hotel, all beautifully decorated in order to provide guests with the ultimate holiday experience. The bedrooms have either a terrace or balcony with views of either the swimming pools or landscaped gardens.\n\nEating at the Mexicana Resort Hotel is a joy with many bars and restaurants to choose from and also the choice of booking an all inclusive holiday or a stay in Sharm El Sheik on bed and breakfast or half board.\n\nThe Resort has two private beaches Mexicana and Diamond, and an air conditioned shuttle bus service running from the Sahara Mexicana to Palma Beach. \n\nOne of the most popular diving sites in the world, there is a host of water sport activities available in the Red Sea from Sharm El Sheik. \n\n##Location\n The hotel operates an air conditioned shuttle bus to Palma Beach just over a mile away. The sandy beach offers a dive centre, floating jetty parasols and easy access to the sea. Sharm is not just popular for its fabulous water sports but also many other sports and excursions are available locally including camel rides and desert safaris. The hotel has a total of 166 rooms. \n\n##Accomodation\n All have - bathroom/shower - WC - telephone - mini bar - air conditioning - TV - balcony/terrace - (certain amenities may be payable locally)\n\nPlease note that a visitors visa may be required if you travel outside the Sinai desert and if you go diving or sightseeing outside Sharm El Sheikh. The visa will cost 10 GBP. \n\n##Eating and Drinking\n Meal Types available at Mexicana Resort Hotel\n\nBed & Breakfast\nBed & Breakfast means buffet breakfast is the only meal at the hotel included in the price. Giving you complete freedom over lunch and dinner outside the hotel.\nHalf Board\nHalf board means buffet breakfast and buffet/set menu dinner and are to be taken in the main buffet restaurant.\nFull Board\nFull Board consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet/set menu style and are to be taken in the main buffet restaurant at the hotel.
